Dennis Redmont is an Honorary President of the Ski Club of International Journalists, or SCIJ. The club was formed in 1955 to bring journalists together to trade views while racing. The main purpose is to form a network among members of the press. Next year’s race will be in Turkey.

Dennis Redmont is THE PRESIDENT OF THE JURY for the ‘Stories on Umbria’ journalism award 2011. He will moderate the award ceremony, to take place on April 14 IN PERUGIA.
The prize, set up by the Perugia Chamber of Commerce in 2009, will consider television reports and articles, published either in print or on the web, that have given coverage to Umbrian affairs. Of particular interest are pieces which have helped to draw the world’s attention to the artistic, cultural and environmental excellence of the region, and its productive economy. Judges will look for originality and depth in submissions, and particularly works which successfully combine the themes of heritage and commerce.

Dennis Redmont is teaching the 12th edition of the Master in Media Relations and New Media and the 13th edition of the Master in Marketing and Communications at the “Il Sole 24 Ore” Business School in Rome and Milan.
