The panel was titled “Executive Coaching and the ‘new normal’: Triumphs, Tragedies and Ethical challenges”.

Dennis Redmont participates at the annual Workshop of the Council for the USA and Italy which takes place in Venice on Friday and Saturday, June 8 and 9 2012 at the San Clemente Palace Hotel & Resort.

Presentation of the book “Il Patchwork Mediale” by Lella Mazzoli

Dennis Redmont intervenes at the presentation of the book“Il Patchwork Mediale –Comunicazione e informazione fra media tradizionali e media digitali (The Media Patchwork – Communication and information between traditional and digital media) by the author Lella Mazzoli, ordinary professor in Sociology of Communication at the University Carlo Bo of Urbino. The book sweeps the entire communication system to identify its main changes after the Internet revolution.

The presentation takes place on May 31, 2012 at 11.30 a.m. at the Istituto Sturzo in Rome(via delle Coppelle 35).

The contibution of Redmont is focused on the 2012 survey of News Italia, an observatory on the status of information consumption in Italy; the study evaluates how Italians get news and which is the real impact on their information consumption of new digital media and mobile devices.

‘SustainaBEERity’: Carlsberg promotes innovation at the International Journalism Festival of Perugia

Dennis Redmont intervenes at the event organized by Carlsberg Italia within the frame of theInternational Journalism Festival of Perugia.

With the slogan ‘SustainaBEERity’, Carlsberg Italia launches its innovation project based on a ‘different’ beer tapping, which is able to increase the quality of the product, besides being environmentally sustainable.

Other speakers at the event: Alberto Frausin, Carlsberg Italia’s CEO,  and Luca Conti, social media expert and founder of the website pandemia.info.

Cenacolo Canova Club Roma “Us and the Others”

Dennis Redmont coordinates a group of foreign correspondents based in Rome during their participationat the Canova Business Club debate, “Italy and the Others”, taking place in Rome on March 20, 2012. The discussion covers political and economic affairs as observed from abroad.

Francesco Pizzetti, Italy Regulator for Privacy, is also a participant.

Dennis Redmont presented the program of the 5th International Journalism Festival of Perugia “IJF” (www.festivaldelgiornalismo.com) and chaired the launch of its platform.

The IJF is a five day (April 13 – 17 2011 ) marathon of 140 events featuring more than 300 journalists which will display the latest  in journalism trends worldwide.The festival will include four panels coordinated by  CJR ONLINE head Justin Peters.

Redmont , who teaches International Media at the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of Perugia (www.sgrtv.it), was one of the founders of the Festival in 2007. The festival has hosted Journalism School professors and alumni since its start.

Redmont will chair various panels during the festival and presides the Jury of

“Raccontami l’Umbria” (http://www.pg.camcom.gov.it/P42A838C504S19/Raccontami-l-Umbria-edizione-2011.htm) a media competition  for the best articles on Umbria.

Dennis Redmont acted as a speaker at the conference “Obama after Mid term elections 2010: the role of politics communications”. The event was organised by CRE (Club Relazioni esterne) and it took place the17th of November in Rome at Villa Mercadante

Dennis Redmont acted as moderator to the debate “On the pursuit of happiness: ethics, politics and the economics of the good life”, sponsored by the British Council, which took place at Villa Wolkonsky, the residence of the British Ambassador in Italy.

Dennis Redmont will participate in the debate, “Europe before the Obama presidency”, taking place at the Pavone theatre in Perugia on April 25 2010 at 11am as part of the International Journalism Festival. Redmont moderates 2orecon – Italy as seen from “the City”
2orecon is a project organised by Enel and Fieg dedicated to the world of media information. The debate, held on 20 November 2006, was on the theme: “Italy seen from the City: the influence of the London financial community on Italian information, politics and the economy.” Dennis Redmont moderated the debate starring Antonio Caprarica, director of Giornale Radio (Rai correspondent from London for many years) and Alan Friedman, director of Mia Economia Italia and of Executive World Business News (CNBC).
